The top two floors of this residence hall were completely renovated to remove all traces of student rooms to provide new finishes to support campus Interpreting services and Gallaudet University Press. Restrooms were relocated to allow for office storage and new offices were added with a new wireless daylight-controlled lighting system. In addition to two new pantries, a studio-apartment was also constructed for visiting interpreting staff. Along with two storefronts opening to a new scheduler room, which maximizes collaboration, the space also includes two fully-functional conference rooms and a brand new communicating staircase which was cut into the floor for improved foot traffic between the 4th and 5th Floors.
