Rodney was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Throughout his youth, he played football as an offensive guard and baseball. In addition, he was on the Student Council and was Vice President his senior year. A love for math led him to the University of Texas after two years at Blinn. He majored in Accounting and Finance and graduated in 1988. Rodney joined the Harvey team in 2001 as comptroller and was quickly promoted to CFO and Vice President of Finance.
Rodney and Jill married in 1989 and have two sons, Ryan and Grant. Rodney enjoys spending his free time by playing golf and watching his sons play sports. Ryan plays baseball while Grant plays football and basketball. The family has a Jack Russell Terrier named Chelsea. Rodney is a Board Member of the Langham Creek YMCA, a member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), the Texas Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of CPA’s.
